Open Source Innovation Book of Ideas

About the book

Netwealth, in partnership with Swinburne University and MASS, conducted a ‘design sprint’ in an effort to inspire more Australians to think about their financial futures. The five-day sprint titled ‘Make It. Break It.’ took place between the 18th and 24th of July at the Swinburne Innovation Precinct. It dealt with a major issue: How to improve (young) Australians’ engagement with their superannuation and retirement investments?

Over 40 students from different Swinburne faculties worked with industry professionals to answer this question by combining design, prototyping and market testing. This book showcases the many ideas that surfaced over the five days. Although the ideas are not entirely developed, they serve as a tool to help the wealth industry innovate. We hope they are a source of inspiration, stimulation and discussion.
