About the speakers

Tané Hunter and Dara Simkin, Future Crunch

Tané is a cancer researcher, bioinformatician, data scientist, and science communicator. As the Co-Founder of Future Crunch, he brings a wealth of experience from his work at the Melbourne Royal Children’s Hospital and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, where he used AI and molecular biomarkers to improve cancer treatments.

Dara, an expert facilitator and learning designer, is Australia's leading play at work specialist. She founded Culture Hero, a learning experience design consultancy in 2016. She has collaborated with The LEGO Foundation, McKinsey & Co., and Silicon Valley's IDEO Play Lab. Certified in the innovative KAOSPILOT methodology, Dara believes in the power of play to drive change and has made Australia her home since 2009.
